Hard to believe that our last blog entry was in October of 2024. Let me assure everyone that we returned too the US at the end of October, 2024 and stopped in New Orleans for my high school reunion. The day before it was to start, I blew out my intestine resulting in 7 1-2 weeks in Oschner Hospital and Rehab and another two weeks in hospital in Albuquerque. Coming out of surgery I swore I would never travel again, and, as you see, it did not take long for me to get the travel bug again.

Yesterday we left Albuquerque and flew to Buenos Aires where we landed this morning. Mr. And Ms. Tooth accompanied us. It is the first long trip for Ms. Tooth.

We flew from Dallas to BA on a brand new 787. The food was actually really good.

Never thought I would say that about American Airlines food.

Alan woke up about 5 AM just as the plane was passing west of Peru and then turned east crossing the coastline as the sun was coming up over the Andes Mountains headed to Buenos Aires.

We are catching a ship Monday and going to Patagonia, Antarctica, the Falkland Islands and Uruguay.

We slept the morning away and this evening walked around the corner to a Korean restaurant called Doma. Since we were the only non Koreans in there, I would say it is genuine. Here is what our dinner looked like. We had dumplings, kim chee, potato salad, eggplant, jeyuk dopabab, and dak galbi.

Great food and fun trying to figure out what we were eating.

Tomorrow evening we go to a Buenos Aires 9 courses meat meal and Sunday we have a cooking lesson. Monday we embark on the Sapphire Princess. More after our meat glut.
