Day 24–The Biennale
Today we wandered through Castello and went to the Biennale. The Venice Biennale is an every other year huge modern art exhibit covering two venues (The Arsenale –Venice’s huge ship building area and the Giardini which is the main park area of Venice). We stopped into San Francesco della Vigna which is one of our favorite churches. Here are a couple of Castello and Arsenale pictures.
Then onto the Biennale. What can one say! We’ll identify the country the work is from if we can. Make your own judgments.

No food porn today but on the way to dropping Noelle at La Fenice for “Madame Butterfly,” we stopped here. We had to post a picture for certain friends. You know who you are!
El Réfolo! I love it and the guys who run it are so sweet! Good spritzes too.
I love that place — hope you did too! Thanks for posting the photo.
